Meet Sophie! The Snuggliest Soul You’ll Ever Love, Sophie is a 5 year old, 50 lb pittie mix with a heart that’s bigger than her whole body. Life hasn’t always been easy for her, but through it all, she’s held onto her sweetness, her hope, and her deep, unconditional love for people.
Sophie is pure love wrapped in fur. Her favorite place is right next to you or better yet, on you, melting into your lap like a living, breathing weighted blanket. She doesn’t just want to be near you; she wants to be with you. She is endlessly affectionate, deeply loyal, and greets everyone she meets with joy. Sophie truly has never met a stranger. She’s wonderful with kids and brings a loving energy wherever she goes. Her eyes light up for car rides, squeaky toys, and attention. She’s also a proud foodie and loves working for treats.
Sophie is completely housebroken, and she’s so crate trained that she’ll trot right in when asked. She has no separation anxiety when left home alone. Sophie has several dogs friends in her foster home and she’s very playful with them. She tends to do better with male dogs but has also made friends with smaller and younger females. If you're looking for a best friend who will love you with her whole heart, who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your constant companion, Sophie is ready.
Sophie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm and tick borne disease negative and has been on preventatives!
Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
