Meet Minka! This petite little girl is 1 year old and weighs only 23 pounds. She’s long and low like her Corgi mama, with the face and build of her Pittie dad, a pretty adorable combination! Until recently Minka lived in an outdoor pen, but she recently came into rescue and is discovering just how good life can be as an indoor dog. Soft beds, air conditioning, treats, and lots of love are all still pretty new to her but she is adjusting. Minka is a very, very sweet girl. She can be a little timid and shy and is still getting used to receiving lots of pets and attention from people, but she’s learning more every day that humans can be pretty great. One thing Minka is already completely sure about? She LOVES other dogs! Having canine friends around helps her feel comfortable and brings out her happy side. Minka is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her time to settle in and continue showing her what it means to be a cherished family dog. She’s had a small world most of her life, and we can’t wait to see her blossom as that world gets bigger.
Minka is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm and tickborn disease negative, and currently on preventatives. Our rescue is 100% donation-based through adoption. We do not have set adoption fees; however, we do require a donation at the time of adoption. Donations help us continue saving animals and preparing them for happy, healthy lives in their forever homes.
