Highway Haven came to WOF as a stray after she was found on the side of the highway near the busy I-240 and I-44 exchange in OKC. Thanks to the dedication of a WOF foster and the help of a kind rescuer, she made it off the road safely and into loving care.
Since arriving Haven has been blossoming. She’s been working on building her confidence and exploring new places. While she is still a bit nervous at times, she recovers quickly and keeps going. Showing how brave and resilient she is becoming.
Haven is a sweet girl full of energy. She’s doing great with both potty training and crate training. She has only had a few accidents here and there. She has been working on some basic obedience training also. She loves her foster siblings but can be nervous of new dogs at first. Haven loves playing with her toys and will happily entertain herself with them around the house. Like any puppy she still needs supervision.
She’s looking for a home that will keep helping her build her confidence and show her the world isn’t so scary after all.
Highway Haven is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and has been on preventatives!
Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
