Heidi came to us with her brother Hudson from a small local shelter after being found as strays. They were covered in thick matts of hair and fleas! Luckily we were able to get them all cleaned up and feeling so much better! Now the puppies are learning to be dogs, we estimate them to be around 10 months old, and they're each 14 pounds. Heidi is the biggest love bug, she just wants to sit in your lap and exchange love all day long. She eventually gets brave and goes to explore but she's happiest with her people. The puppies are both a little shy/ nervous in new situations but with time warm up and love to explore. Heidi does love to play with people, dogs, and toys!
Heidi is mostly potty trained but as a puppy accident's are to be expected! She also has a bit of a nervous bladder where she pees a little when excited or nervous but she may outgrow this with age. She will need groomed regularly by someone who is going to be patient with her. Heidi would do well in a home with other dogs or as the center of your attention! She is just a happy, sweet, girl looking for her forever family! Heidi is pretty good in the car, but does need tethered, and is great with her crate!
While previously waiting to get spayed we discovered little miss Heidi has a grade 3 heart murmur. You would never know Heidi's heart is any different meeting her, and she likely will have a long healthy life!
