At 9yrs old, Chip had to say goodbye to the only family he knew his whole life. He was scared at first, but he did his best to be brave. Once Chip met the other dogs and cats in his foster home he started to come out of his shell. He’s only 13lbs so he fit right in!
He loves to curl up next to you on the couch if he’s not already burrowing under a blanket nearby. Chip willingly goes to sleep in his own bed in a playpen each night in exchange for a treat. He has also been left alone out in the house at his previous home and did well.
Just like us, Chip has boundaries and would do best in a home with kids over 6yrs old. He prefers friends who go slow with introductions and pick him up only on his terms.
Chip would do well with pet siblings or on his own.
Chocolate Chip is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm and tick borne disease negative!
Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
