Meet Liberty,
Liberty was rescued over the Fourth of July weekend after spending several days near a busy intersection. She would watch every passing car as if she was waiting for someone to come back for her. Every time someone tried to help, she’d run away, too scared to trust anyone. After a lot of patience and the help of a trapper, we were finally able to get her to safety.
She was microchipped, but sadly her last known owner didn’t want her. She is currently in quarantine while we make sure she’s healthy and receives the veterinary care she needs. So far, we’ve learned she’s about 11 months old, weighs just 39 pounds, and is as sweet as can be.
We’re still getting to know Liberty, but we’ve been told she’s good with kids and other dogs. She isn’t available for adoption just yet, but she will be once she’s completed her veterinary care. Stay tuned as we continue to learn more about this sweet girl!
