Davidson needs a family willing to be patient and respect his boundaries. He is very fearful of the car and being forced into tight spaces and hesitant with new people. He requires reassurance, confident but respectful handling, and some trazadone before car rides and the vet for good measure. An experienced dog owner with no kids under the age of 10 in the home would be best. He does well with other calm dogs with proper introductions and can be cat tested if needed. He is fixed, vaccinated, crate trained, and housebroken.
