Luca originally came from an abusive home. Shut down, heartbroken, and days away from euthanasia at a shelter, Luca had almost no hope until a foster stepped in. Since then, Luca has made incredible progress. Underneath his fear a loving and kind dog was found. He is a Velcro dog that loves attention and to snuggle up close to his trusted people. He is very friendly with other animals and lives happily with both dogs and cats. He is fully housebroken, crate trained and has excellent leash manners. Luca is ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the gentle, consistent love he deserves. While he tolerates men and is not aggressive he is much more comfortable with women so a female centered home is recommended.
Luca is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
